Liu Yifei is the pseudonym of Chinese-American actress, model and singer, Crystal Liu. She was 16 years old when she made her screen debut in the 2003 drama series, “The Story of a Noble Family”. Her portrayal of Zhao Ling’er in the television series, “Chinese Paladin” two years later shot her to mainstream stardom.
She is known best to international audiences for her role as the title character of Disney’s fantasy adventure film, “Mulan” in 2020.
Family Life
She was born An Feng but changed from the family name of her father, An Shaokang to that of her mother, Liu Xiaoli, when they divorced in 1997.
She lived in the United States with her mother from 1997 until 2002, when she returned to her birth country to become an actress.
