Louisa Michelle Christian made a name for herself for using her voice in English versions of Japanese shows and films.
Personal Life
She is the daughter of two teachers. She got exposed to the show world at an early age. By the time she was three years old, she was taking part in beauty contests. Her love for theatre made her put more effort into it while studying in high school. She attempted studying journalism in college but switched back to theatre. She became the wife of Michael Bell in 2008 and birthed two daughters with him. Prior to that, she was married to Christopher Berry.
Career
Her career started in Houston when she did some work in the Japanese series “Those Who Hunt Elves”. Not long after, she featured in “Neo Ranga”. In the comedy show “School Rumble”, she worked on the voice of Hitomi Kashiwa whiles playing the role of Tenma Tsukamoto. She has worked on about a hundred anime between 1998 and early 2022. She has also worked on video games and films.
Achievement
She received nominations during the American Anime Awards in 2007 for Best Actress in the comedy “Desert Punk, Negima” and Best Actress in “Princess Tutu. She was however unable to win either.
Trivia
She is the sister of Kevin Christian who contested for a seat in the Texas legislature.
