Career
She made her television debut in 1989 in the comedy series Funny Business. She went on to appear in other minor television and film roles until she finally got her big break playing the warrior woman named Xena in the series Hercules: The Legendary Journeys.
Personal Life
Her first marriage was to Garth Lawless in 1988. The couple had a daughter together before divorcing in 1995. She married Robert Tapert in 1998 and had two sons with him.
