About Maddie Marlow
Maddie Marlow is an American singer, songwriter and guitarist. She became a household name in country music as a half of the country music duo, Maddie & Tae. She and her partner, Taylor Dye, were the first signees of the now-defunct record label, Dot Records. Under the label, they released their debut single, Girl in a Country Song in 2014.
Family Life
Before she moved to Nashville, Tennessee to pursue a career in country music, she had been living in Sugar Land, Texas. In January 2019, she tied the knot with her high school sweetheart, Jonah Font.
Achievements
As of June 4, 2020, Girl in a Country Song had been certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America.
She alongside her musical partner, Taylor were featured at number 20 on Forbes’ 30 under 30 list in the music category. The two were also nominated for Vocal duo of the Year in the Academy of Country Music Awards in 2016.
