Born into a family of actors, Maja Ross A. Salvador was merely towing the line when she made her debut in the television series, “It Might Be You”, as Cara Victorino. The Filipina actress started to gain prominence in the Philippine film industry when she played the titular character of the 2011 film, “Thelma”.
She is also famous for having landed roles such as Lily Cruz/Ivy Aguas in the television series, “Wildflower” and Mia Sandoval on “Bridges of Love”. In 2014, Salvador launched her music career with her album titled “Believe”.
Family Life
She was born to the late Filipino actor, Ross Rival and his wife, Thelma Andres. She is the granddaughter of Spanish Filipino actor, Luis Salvador and the niece of award-winning actor, Philip Salvador. Maja is also the aunt of Filipina actress and singer, Janella Salvador.
Achievements
For starring in “Thelma”, she won two “Best Actress” awards; one each from the ‘Film Academy of the Philippines’ and the ‘Gawad Urian Award’. She also won over 15 major awards for her performance in “Wildflower”.
