Mandy Moore is an American singer, songwriter, and actress.

Career

Mandy Moore was originally discovered by a FedEx deliveryman who overheard her singing. He knew someone in the music industry who could get her signed. Moore signed to Epic Records to record her first album, So Real. Around this time, she toured with the popular bands NSYNC and The Backstreet Boys. This album had her first single, “Candy,” which was certified Gold for selling 500,000 albums. Her next two singles were also hits. Moore's early music was bubblegum pop, but she decided to stray away from this genre by her third album.
