Manute Bol was a Sudanese-American basketball player. He played as a center for the Washington Bullets, the Golden State Warriors, the Philadelphia 76ers and the Miami Heat of the NBA, among other teams.
His Highlights/Legacy
He is best known for being the tallest NBA player of all time, along with Gheorghe Mureșan. During his career, he blocked more shots than he scored points, thus being the only NBA player ever to do so.
His Personal Life
He was married twice and he had 10 children. He died of acute kidney failure and complications from Stevens–Johnson syndrome at the age of 47.
