About Margot Frank
Margot Frank was a German Jew who was a victim of the Holocaust which was carried out by Nazi Germany from 1941 to 1945. She went into hiding with her family in 1942 after she received an order to move to one of the labor camps in Germany.
Margot was found and arrested two years later. She was detained at the headquarters of the Gestapo unit. She was transferred to the Westerbork Camp and later to the Auschwitz camp.
Family
She was the daughter of Edith Frank and her business executive husband Otto Frank. Her sister, Anne Frank, was the author of the “The Diary of a Young Girl” book which talked about their experience during that period.
Education
She attended a number of schools which included the Municipal Grammar School, Jewish Lyceum, and the Municipal Lyceum.
Death
Margot contracted typhus which caused her death in 1945.
