About Marie-France Pisier
Marie-France Pisier was a French movie star who made her onscreen debut in the 1962 film titled “Antoine and Colette”. Regarded as one of her country’s most iconic actresses of the 20th Century, Pisier starred in over 50 films and television productions.
The award-winning actress gained international recognition with her Karine role in the 1975 film “Cousin Cousine”. She was also a stage performer and was cast in Jerry Sterner’s 2009 work “Other People's Money”.
Family
She was the sister of French writer Évelyne Pisier, and renowned mathematics professor Gilles Pisier. The actress was married to Georges Kiejman before tying the knot with Thierry Funck-Brentano. She raised two kids named Mathieu and Iris.

Pisier won the César Award for her role in “Barocco”.

Her lifeless body was discovered in her swimming pool in 201, with her death believed to be caused by drowning.
