About Mark Lamarr
He is an English television star who works as a writer, a disk jockey and a comedian.
Personal Life
He was given the name Mark Jones when he was born and had three older sisters. He studied at Oakfield School which was at the time named Park School. He however did not complete and relocated to Harrow in London.
Career
When he left school, he worked on a poem titled “Too Fast to Live, Too Young to Work” and released it to the public in 1987. Not long after, he started working as a comedian. He started getting recognized when he started a job as one of the presenters of the show “The Word”. He then moved on to the entertainment show titled “The Big Breakfast” where he worked as a presenter. In 1996, the show “Never Mind the Buzzcocks” started airing and Mark became the host and worked on the show for almost a decade. He is also one of the writers of “15 Storeys High”.
Legal Issues
In 2018, he was accused of assault and false imprisonment and was set to make an appearance in court but the following year, the case was discontinued and an apology rendered to him.
