The NFL player graduated from El Cajon Valley High School and Arizona State University.
Career
Malone began his professional career playing for the Pittsburgh Steelers in 1980 and stayed with the team till 1987. He then moved on to join the San Diego Chargers in 1998 and finally settled at the New York Jets up until his retirement in 1989.
Trivia
After he hung up his boots, Malone became a television sportscaster in 2015 and delved into acting. He even emerged as a multiple Emmy Award winner.
