About Mark Pryor
Mark Pryor worked as a lawyer before he began his political journey in 1990. The following year, he was voted into the Arkansas House of Representatives. In 1999, the American politician was selected as Arkansas’ Attorney General.
He left his position in 2003, the same year he was voted into the United States Senate. Since the beginning of his political career, Pryor has worked on many committees including the Committee on Rules and Administration, and the Committee on Armed Services.
Family
He followed in the footsteps of his father David Pryor, who served as the Governor of Arkansas. His mother is called Barbara Jean Lunsford. He has been married to Joi Pryor, and together they have two kids named Porter and Adams.
Education
Pryor had his early education at Little Rock Central High School and continued at Walt Whitman High School. He went on to read history at the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville, and later attended the institution’s law school.
Trivia
He was once said to be suffering from clear-cell sarcoma.
Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck, a law firm, hired him as one of their lobbyists in 2020.
