Jobert got her big break when she played the character of "Elisabeth" in Jean-Luc Godard's, “Masculin Féminin” in 1966. The film was studded with such celebrities as Brigitte Bardot and Jean-Pierre Léaud. She went on to give a stellar performance in Yves Robert’s “Very Happy Alexander”.

She got married to Swedish dental surgeon Dr. Walter Green. The couple have twin girls.
