About Martin Brundle
Martin Brundle’s rise to stardom began in 1875 when he participated in the Hot Rod racing. Four years later, he competed in the Formula Ford championship for the first time. He started attracting attention in 1980 when he was crowned the winner of the BMW championship.
Two years later, Martin joined the Formula Three series before making his Formula One debut in 1984. He spent over a decade in the competition in which he worked for teams like Williams, McLaren and Tyrrell Racing Organisation. He has also competed in the 24 Hours of Le Mans competition.
Other works
After ending his driving career, Brundle has gone on to work as a broadcaster. He’s mostly used as a commentator and has worked with media organizations like Sky Sports and ITV Sport.
Family
He’s the brother of famous driver Robin Brundle. He has been married to a lady called Liz with two kids named Alex and Charlie. The former is also a world-class driver.
Achievements
He was crowned the winner of the World Sportscar Championship in 1988.
