Hailing from Germany, Martin Winterkorn is a retired business executive. He was the Chief Executive Officer of Volkswagen AG from 2007 to 2014. Prior to that height, he began his career at Robert Bosch GmbH as a specialist assistant in 1977. Later, Winterkorn climbed higher in his career by heading the Substances and Processes group at the said company for three years (1978 to 1981).
