Mary Catherine Jordan is an American journalist and author. She is famous for her work as a correspondent with the Washington Post. Her first experience in the newspaper industry was earned when she was hired as a columnist for The Irish Press during her time as a student of Irish poetry at the Trinity College in Ireland.
Her experiences as both a foreign and national correspondent for the Washington Post include interviewing the likes of Paul McCartney, Tony Blair and Gabriel Garcia Marquez as well as writing extensively about the 2016 US elections and the Trump administration.
Family Life
She has been married to Kevin Sullivan, also a journalist who has served as a senior correspondent for the Washington Post. The couple have worked together on projects such as the book, Hope: A Memoir of Survival in Cleveland.
Achievements
She jointly won the 2003 Pulitzer Prize for International Reporting with Kevin Sullivan.
