Early Life
He attended St. Simon the Apostle elementary and middle schools, and Cathedral High School, where he led the team to three consecutive IHSAA state titles. He set school records with 37.5 sacks, 64.5 stops for losses, and 245 tackles while playing for Boston College in 49 games with 38 starts.
Career
The New York Giants selected him with the 32nd overall choice in the 2006 NFL Draft and he started nine of the 16 games he appeared in during his debut season. He finished the 2007 season with 47 tackles, 4.5 sacks, four passes defended, and a forced fumble despite not playing in the Super Bowl. He concluded the 2008 season with 59 tackles, 28 of which were unassisted.
Personal Life
He is Benedicto Kiwanuka, Uganda's first prime minister's grandson. He wed Tessa Kiwanuka.
