About Matt Busby
Matt Busby was a legendary Scottish soccer player and coach who goes down in history as one of the greatest managers of all time. He’s the first manager to lead an English soccer team to win the European Cup. He’s widely remembered for his time as the head coach of Manchester United. During that period, he built one of the strongest teams in Europe which was labelled the “Busby Babes”.
He also managed the Great Britain, and Scotland national teams.
Playing career
As a player, Busby was mostly used as a right midfielder or center forward Busby. He played for a number of teams in England including Manchester City, and Liverpool. He also represented the Scottish national team on numerous occasions.
