Matt Heafy is a multi-talented American musician who is most known for being the lead vocalist and guitarist for the legendary heavy metal bands Trivium and Capharnaum.
He began by learning to play the tenor saxophone and guitar before becoming an expert in the music industry. Heafy’s contributions to the Trivium band include popular albums such as “The Crusade”, which they released in 2006 and “Silence in the Snow”, their 2015 album.
In 2004 he contributed to "Fractured”, which is Capharnaum’s second studio album.

His marriage to Ashley Heafy was in 2010. In 2018 they gave birth to a set of twins, a son and a daughter. His younger sister is Michelle Heafy. She is a YouTube celebrity.
