Matthew Thomas Morgan is an American actor who doubled as a politician and wrestler. He rose to fame after becoming a 2-time TNA World Tag Team Champion.
Early Life
The actor enrolled at Monmouth University where he played Division I college basketball. He later switched to Chaminade University and graduated with a degree in public speaking.
Career in Wrestling
Morgan started out his wrestling career with World Wrestling Entertainment in 2002, wrestling in various events such as Ohio Valley Wrestling and SmackDown! He later went on to join the Total Nonstop Action Wrestling franchise and became an NWA Florida Heavyweight Champion and a 2-time World Tag Team Champion.
Career in Film
Morgan played the role of Beast in the competition TV show "American Gladiators" in 2009. He also appeared in the American action-comedy series "The Good Guys" in 2010 and "Death from Above" in 2011. In 2010, he made appearances in five episodes of the TV game show “Family Feud”.
