Matt Ryan is an American professional footballer who began his career in the National Football League (NFL) with the Atlanta Falcons in 2008. Prior to joining the Falcons, he played college football with the Boston College Eagles football team. He was drafted by the Falcons in the 2008 NFL Draft.
Family Life
He is the son of Bernice and Michael Ryan. He grew up with two older siblings and one younger sibling.
Achievements
In 2008, he won both the NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year award as well as the award for the PFWA Offensive Rookie of the Year. Between 2010 and 2014, he was selected to Pro Bowl three times.
