English presenter and former tabloid journalist Alexander Matthew Wright rose to fame while hosting "The Wright Stuff " on Channel 5 from 2000 to 2018.
Early Life
Wright lived most of his early years in England, graduated from the voluntary-aided Roman Catholic boys' school and later attended and graduated from the Croydon Youth Theatre. Wright finally enrolled in the University of Exeter, where he graduated with a degree in English and Drama.
Career
The journalist's career began in the 1990s when he became a show business correspondent with The Sun. Wright moved to the Daily Mirror before delving into television in 2000. He was later announced by BBC One's "Inside Out" as its lead presenter in 2007. 2011 saw the journalist joining Daily Star Sunday as a columnist. He later appeared in the television show "I'm a Celebrity, Get Me Out Here" in 2013.
Personal Life
The journalist married Amelia Wright in 2010.
Trivia
The journalist and the Daily Mirror were sued in 1998 for £20,000 by actor David Soul for calling his play "The Dead Monkey" one of the worst shows he had ever seen.
