Maureen O'Hara, also known by a number of nicknames such as “Queen of Technicolor” and “Big Red”, was an iconic Irish actress and singer widely remembered for her roles in such films as 1939's The Hunchback of Notre Dame, 1947's Miracle on 34th Street, 1952's The Quiet Man and 1961's The Parent Trap.
Personal Life
She was married three times. She gave birth to her only child, a daughter named Bronwyn Brigid in 1944. Bronwyn’s father was her second husband William Houston Price.
Achievements
In addition to having a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, she is also an inductee into a number of Halls of Fame, including the Western Performers Hall of Fame. In 2014, she was honored with an Honorary Academy Award.
