About Maurice Ravel
Maurice Ravel was a celebrated French music composer who became a global icon in the 1920s. He’s best remembered for his 1928 work entitled, “Boléro”. His other notable works include “Pavane pour une infante défunte” and “Sonata for Violin and Cello”.
He’s considered as one of the early composers to have their works recorded. Most of his music was described as impressionism. The French musician was one of the founding members of the group known as Les Apaches, which was made up of poets, musicians, and writers.
