Max Stirner contributed immensely to the study of philosophy. His 1844 work titled “The Ego and Its Own” is considered as one of the most cited literatures in the study of the discipline. The German philosopher contributed to subjects like individualist anarchism, psychoanalytic theory, and postmodernism.
Some of his other most popular works were entitled “The False Principle of Our Education” and “The Philosophical Reactionaries”.
Family
He was born to Sophia Elenora Reinlein and Albert Christian Heinrich Schmidt. His first spouse, Agnes Burtz, died in 1838, a year after their marriage. He later tied the knot with Marie Dähnhardt in 1843.
Education
Stirner read philology at the University of Berlin. He later moved to the University of Erlangen.
