From 1989 to 1992, he was signed with “Karlsruher SC,” achieving 61 caps and scoring 12 goals across all competitions.
He joined Bundesliga giants “Bayern Munich” in July 1992 and stayed there until his retirement in 2007. In 15 consecutive seasons at Munich, he achieved 469 caps and scored 117 goals. Additionally, he won the 1996 UEFA Cup, 2001 UEFA Champions League, and eight Bundesliga titles with Bayern. Bayern Fans adored him for his incredibly creative playmaking and set-piece abilities.
He was a key player of the German national team from 1995 to 2002 and was part of their “Euro 1996” winning squad.
