Personal Life
The name given to this star at birth was Michael Arnold Kamen and he had three brothers. His mother was Helen who was a teacher and his father, Saul Kamen, worked as a dentist.
He enrolled at the High School of Music and Art and created the band “New York Rock & Roll Ensemble”.
Career
His work as an arranger became so well recognized that people from far and near tried to get him to work with them. He worked with some great people including Eric Clapton, Herbie Hancock, Bon Jovi, Bryan Adams and The Cranberries. Kamen also worked on scores for different films including “Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves”, “Someone To Watch Over Me”, “License to Kill”, “The Three Musketeers” and “The Dead Zone” among others.
Cause of Death
In 1997, he was informed that he had multiple sclerosis and that weakened him but in 2003, he suffered from a heart attack and passed away.
