About Michael Krohn-Dehli
The central midfielder retired from the Danish national team after the 2018 FIFA World Cup but continued to play for the Spanish side Deportivo La Coruña through to 2019.
Career Highlights
Krohn started professional football for junior clubs Rosenhoj BK, Hvidovre IF, Brondby IF and AFC Ajax until 2004.
In 2004, he began senior games for the RKC Waalwijk for two seasons and returned to Ajax for the 2006-2008 seasons during which he was loaned to Sparta Rotterdam for the 2006/07 season.
After playing five seasons for the Brondby IF, he moved from Danish leagues to Spain in 2012 where he played three seasons each for Celta Vigo and Sevilla FC in the La Liga. He signed to play a year-and-a-half for Deportivo La Coruna in 2018 on a free transfer.
In the national team, he featured in the Under 19, 20 and 21 before entering the senior team in 2006. He scored the lone goal against the Netherlands in Euro 2012, featured in friendlies and qualifiers and also made it to the 2018 World Cup held in Russia.
All in all, the Denmark international was capped more than 60 times by his country.

The Danish midfielder won the 2015/16 Europa League with Sevilla.
