About Midge Ure
Midge Ure is a talented Scottish pop and rock and roll guitarist, singer, songwriter, and producer who rose to popularity in the 1970s and 1980s.
He kick-started his career as a member of the pop-rock band Slik. He however quitted the band after becoming disillusioned with their new direction and went on to have a successful and memorable career with other popular bands such as Rich Kids, Thin Lizzy, Visage, and Ultravox.
Solo career
Following his success with the above-mentioned bands, he launched a successful solo career with a string of highly praised albums including "Answers to Nothing," "Breathe," "Move Me," and "Fragile."
He is also recognized for writing and producing great songs like "Fade to Grey”, "Dancing with Tears in My Eyes", and "Vienna".
Midge Ure’s spouses and children
He married Sheridan Forbes in 2003. But before that, he and Annabel Giles were married from 1985 to 1989.
He fathers four children namely Molly McQueen, Ruby Ure Kitty Ure, and Flossie Ure.
