Fondly called “The Greek Mike” by his fans, Bronzoulis does not take any prisoners in the MMA ring. He was a finalist in the reality show “Fight Master: Bellator MMA”.
Background
Bronzoulis grew up watching martial arts actor Jean-Claude Van Damme's movies and was inspired to become a mixed martial artist. He learned Tae Kwon Do, Tang Shu Do as well as kickboxing.
Career
“The Greek Mike” made his fighting debut in 2007 and was soon competing with veteran fighters such as Kamal Shalorus.
He joined the Shark Fights in 2010 and defeated Brazilian fighter, Lucas Lopes. Bronzoulis won his first title Legacy FC Welterweight Championship in November 2010 defeating Jonathan Harris. However, he had to return the title when he left Legacy FC to Strike Force in 2011.
In 2013, he joined the participants of “Fight Master: Bellator MMA” and made it to the finals where he was defeated by Joe Riggs.
Legal Issues
Bronzoulis is a registered sex offender after he was convicted of sexually assaulting a minor in 1997.
