Award-winning dancer, Misty Danielle Copeland is widely recognized for her affiliation with the American Ballet Theatre (ABT). In August of 2007 she became a soloist for ABT. She is also a reality television personality noted for appearing on shows such as “So You Think You Can Dance” and “A Day in the Life”.
Family
She was born to Doug Copeland and Sylvia DelaCerna. She got married to attorney, Olu Evans on 31st July 2016.
Achievements
She set the record as ABT’s first African American lady to be a solo dancer. In 2015 “Glamour Magazine” named her amongst the ‘Women of the Year’. She received the award for ‘Best in Dance in Social Media’ at the 2016 “Shorty Awards”.
