Mohamed Anwar Hadid is an acclaimed Jordanian-American real estate tycoon of Palestinian descent. He is known for his ownership of luxury buildings in the United States, especially in Los Angeles.
Family Life
Hadid and his seven siblings were born to Anwar Hadid and Khairiah.
His marriage to his first wife, Mary Butler, ended in 1992. They had two daughters; Alana and Marielle. From 1994 to 2000, he was married to Yolanda Van den Herik, a model from the Netherlands. They had three children together, Gigi, Bella and Anwar, who are all models signed to IMG Models.
In 2014, he got engaged to Shiva Safai, an Iranian model.
Achievements
As of February 2020, he was the only Jordanian to have ever participated in the Winter Olympics when he competed in the speed skiing category at the 1992 Winter Olympics.
Trivia
Although Hadid does not see himself as a devout Muslim, he claims he has never drunk alcohol.
