In 2015, South African rapper, Nasty C became the youngest person to receive the Best Freshman Award at the South African Hip Hop Awards. In 2022, he announced to his over 3.5 million Instagram followers that he was collaborating on a project with the popular video game “Call of Duty.”
Early Life
Nasty C was born Nsikayesizwe David Junio Ngcobo in Diepkloof, Johannesburg. He was raised by his father after losing his mother in a car crash when he was still a baby.
He started rapping after learning from his older brother, Siyabonga and started producing music when he was only 9. He released his first mixtape “One Kid, a Thousand Coffins” when he was 14.
Works
After his mixtape debut, Nasty C released his EP “L.A.M.E” and his hit single, “Juice” and later released its remix along with other artists, Davido and Cassper Nyovest. In 2016, he released his first album “Bad Hair.” He also released other albums, including “Strings and Bling” and “Zulu Man with Some Power.” In 2022, he starred in the Disney+ animated series “Kizazi Moto: Generation Fire.”
