Natalie Portman is an Israeli-American actress. She rose to fame from a small age where she was the protagonist in Luc Besson’s 1994 French action-thriller film, “Leon: The Professional”, starring next to Jean Reno, Gary Oldman, and Danny Aiello.
After that role she went on to play in well-known movies like “Star Wars” and its sequels as Padme Amidala and as Evey Hammond in “V for Vendetta”.
She is now considered one of the best actresses of her era.
Family
She got engaged to Benjamin Millepied, a ballet dancer, in 2009 and they married in 2012. They have two children, Aleph and Amalia.

In 2009, she played in “The Other Woman” and also appeared in “Avengers: Endgame”, “Annihilation”, “Thor: The Dark World”, and “Thor: Love and Thunder”.
Natalie has also produced and directed films some of which she played in as well, including “Hesher”, “No Strings Attached” and “New York, I Love You”.
She has featured in music videos of Paul McCartney’s “Dance Tonight” and ”My Valentine” as well as in “Imagine” by Gal-Gadot-and-Friends and The Lonely Island’s “ Natalie’s Rap” in 2006 which had version two in 2018.

In TV series she has played herself in the 2003 “Sesame Street” and Padme in the 2022 “Obi-Wan Kenobi”.
She has hosted TV shows and also featured in video documentaries comprising “Hitler’s Pawn: The Margaret Lambert Story”, “The Armenian Genocide”, “Saving a Species” and “Saturday Night Live”.
Natalie played Jane Foster in the unreleased films “Thor: Love and Thunder” and Maddie in “Lady in the Lake”.
Awards and Achievements
Portman won an Academy Award in 2011 for her role in the movie “The Black Swan”.
She also won the Golden Globe Award-Best Supporting Actress for the stripper role in “Closer”.
She has also won Saturn Award for-Best Actress for role in “V for Vendetta”.
