Natascha McElhone is an English actress famed for her portrayal of Karen van der Beek on the hit TV series Californication. She is also known for playing Deirdre in the 1998 film Ronin and Lauren/Sylvia in The Truman Show. Her other famous film roles include Solaris, Ladies in Lavender and Believe. She voiced Marie Belmont in the video game Castlevania: Lords of Shadow.
Career
She initially began acting in theatre before making her television debut in 1991 playing Louise Calder in the BBC TV series Bergerac.
Family Life
She married plastic surgeon Dr Martin Hirigoyen Kelly in 1998. She and Martin had three children together and remained married until his sudden death in 2008 at age of 43.
