Neil Innes was a skilled British musician, comedian, and writer best known for his contributions to the comic musical ensemble Bonzo Dog Doo-Dah. He also made a name for himself as a prominent member of The Beatles parody band “The Rutles”. His collaboration with Monty Python further aided his rise to stardom. As a solo artist, he recorded many hit albums including “How Sweet to Be an Idiot” (1973), “The Innes Book of Records “(1979), and “Nearly Really” (2019).
