About Neil Morrissey
Neil Morrissey abandoned his education at a point to pursue a career in acting. He was cast in many theater productions before making his screen debut in the 1984 film “The Bounty”. He established his name in the entertainment industry after appearing in the sitcom “Men Behaving Badly” as Tony.

Morrissey is also known to be a successful businessman. He made lots of investments in the hospitality industry which led him to acquire centers like Brown's Hotel, Hurst Hotel, and the New Three Mariners in the early 2000s. After some time, he began recording losses and sold them.
He returned to the business after 2009 and has since operated many pubs which include the Barlaston-based ‘Plume of Feathers’.
Private Life
He was nurtured by a foster mother called Margaret Cartlidge. The actor has a brother who’s simply known as Stephen.
Between 1987 and 1991, he was married to movie star Amanda Noar. During their time together they had a son called Sam. He has also been in a romantic relationship with Amanda Holden, an actress.
Education
He studied at Thistley Hough High School and continued at City of Stoke-on-Trent Sixth Form College. He was later trained at Guildhall School of Music and Drama.
