The wrestler is an alumnus of Indiana University Southeast.
Wrestling Career
He began professional wrestling in 1996 and soon hit the ring-side in the United States Wrestling Association (USWA). He had an incredible career at Ohio Valley Wrestling (OVW), becoming a 10-time champion of the OVW Heavyweight division, an eleven-time Southern Tag Team Champion with Ron Conway in their Tag team, "Lord of The Ring." His Tag team partnership with William Regal earned him a "World Tag Team Championship."
In 2007, he did very well at the Juggalo Championship Wrestling (JCW) with the ring name "U-Gene."
His spell at the WWE was filled with passion and joy from the fans. In 2005, he received a gold medal at SummerSlam after winning a fight against colleague wrestler Kurt Angle.
In 2015, he officially opened his promotion, "Midwest All Pro Wrestling." However, after embarking on several tours with Midwest, he sold the promotion to investors in December 2021.
Personal Life
He got married to Stephanie Fisher in November 2015.
