About Nick Park
Nick Park developed a love for drawing at the age of 13 years. Driven by his passion, the British filmmaker was hired by the Bristol-based studio called Aardman Animations as one of their animators in 1985. His first notable work was the 1989 animated film entitled “A Grand Day Out”.
Since then, the multiple award-winning animator has worked on some major films and series such as “The Wrong Trousers” and “Chicken Run”.
Family
His parents are Roger Wulstan Park and Mary Cecilia Ashton, and he was raised together with four siblings. He has been married to a lady called Mags Connolly since 2016.
Education
He completed his education at Our Lady's Catholic High School (formerly known as Cuthbert Mayne High School) before attending Sheffield Hallam University (then called Sheffield City Polytechnic). He was later trained at the National Film and Television School.
Achievements
In 2005, he won his fourth Academy Award. Four years later, he received his fifth BAFTA Award.

As a lover of soccer, he’s known to be a fan of Preston North End.
His 2000 animated film “Chicken Run” became the highest-earning animated production of its kind.
