Background
Zinner was a student of Bard College where he was part of the group Challenge of the Future. They played together until 2001 when they broke up.
Career
Zinner formed the band Head Wound City in 2005 and also produced the album “Silent Alarm Remixed”. He worked with several artists including Har Mar Superstar, Ronnie Spector, Scarlett Johansson, as well as Santigold. He joined the rock band The Rentals in 2018.
Zinner studied photography and released a couple of collections over the years such as “Slept in Beds” in 2003, and “Please Take Me Off the Guest List” in 2010. He held exhibitions in New York and San Francisco.
In October 2022, Zinner went on tour with his Yeah Yeah Yeahs bandmates, and their schedule was posted to his Instagram followers.
