About Nikita Parris
Until 2020, Nikita Parris was the Women's Super League all-time top scorer. A forward, Parris is a product of the Everton youth system. She played her first professional game with the club in 2011. The English soccer star spent the last of her four years spell on loan at Manchester City.
Her move to the club was made permanent in 2016. She spent three years at City where she won both the FA Women's Cup, and the FA WSL Cup twice. She also won the FA Women's Super League in 2016. After her spell at the club, she moved to France and signed for Olympique Lyonnais. At the club, she won many trophies including the UEFA Women's Champions League, and the Division 1 Féminine. The Liverpool-born forward has also played for Arsenal.
International Career
After her fine display at the youth level, Parris earned her first senior callup in 2016. With the team, she has starred in some major international tournaments including the FIFA World Cup, and the UEFA Women's Euro. She won the latter in 2022.
Family
She spent her childhood with her mum, Jo, and two brothers. She also has a twin sister.
Education
She studied at Bellerive FCJ Catholic College before joining Cardinal Heenan Catholic High School. She’s an alumnus of Liverpool John Moores University
Achievements
This soccer star was included in the 2019 FWA Women's Footballer of the Year.
Trivia
Growing up, she was a fan of Liverpool FC and admired players like Michael Owen, and Fernando Torres.
She was discovered by Everton’s Mo Marley.
