About Noussair Mazraoui
Noussair Mazraoui started playing soccer at the age of four years. In 2006, he was invited to train with the youth team of Dutch side Ajax. Before making his senior debut in 2018, he played a number of games for the team’s youth sides.
During his four years with the club, the Moroccan right-back won three Eredivisie titles and two KNVB Cups. In 2022, he signed for German giants Bayern Munich. Later that year, he helped them to win the DFL-Supercup.
International play
Though he was qualified to feature for the Netherlands, Mazraoui opted to play for the Moroccan national team. He started from the country’s U20 side before making his senior debut in 2018. Four years later, he was selected to represent the country at the FIFA World Cup competition in Qatar.
Individual honors
In 2019, he was named Ajax Talent of the Year. He was also included in the 2021/22 CIES Eredivisie Team of the Year.
Trivia
At club level, Mazraoui recorded his first goal against Danish side FC Midtjylland.
He has also played with other top talents like Hakim Ziyech.
