About Oliver Goldsmith
Oliver Goldsmith was a remarkable Anglo-Irish writer, dramatist, and poet who became an international celebrity after publishing his book titled "The Vicar of Wakefield" in 1766. He was also known for his poetry entitled "The Deserted Village".
He also wrote many plays with the most popular ones titled "The Good-Natur'd Man" and "She Stoops to Conquer”. He was also known to be the author of "The History of Little Goody Two-Shoes" (1765), a popular children's fable.
