About Otto Graham
Otto Graham played professional football from 1946 until 1955. Following his collegiate career with Northwestern University’s Wildcats team, he was signed by the Cleveland Browns of the All-America Football Conference. He played in the league from 1946 to 1949.
He made his National Football League (NFL) debut in 1950, the same year that the Browns joined the league. A few years after retiring, he began a football coaching career. He coached the Coast Guard Bears college team and the Washington Redskins.
Family Life
He was raised in Illinois alongside three brothers. He was married to Beverly Graham with whom he had two sons.
Achievements
He won three NFL championships and was named the league’s Most Valuable Player three times. He also played in five Pro Bowl games. In 1965, he was made a Pro Football Hall of Famer.

He died on December 17, 2003 from a heart aneurysm.
