About Pam Oliver
American sportscaster Pam Oliver has been involved in sports since her high school days, when she participated in track and field and played basketball and tennis. She continued her track activities at Florida A&M University, where she ran the mile relay and 400-meter races alongside her broadcast journalism studies.
In 1985, she started working as a news reporter. She has since become known for her work with Fox Sports, which she joined in 1995. Prior to that, she had worked for ESPN for two years. Fox shows she has presented or reported on include “Fox NFL Sunday” and “Southern Sports Report”.
Family Life
Due to her father’s work as a US Air Force officer, she lived in Florida, Texas, California, Washington and Michigan while growing up. She has been married to Alvin Whitney since 1990.
Achievements
She has been a recipient of a Gracie Award and the Atlanta Women in Sports Lifetime Achievement Award.
