About Pat Frank
Pat Frank started making a name for himself as a journalist and he was best known for his numerous novels. He worked with many newspaper organizations and government offices during the Second World War.
The American writer published his first novel in 1946 which was entitled “Mr. Adam”. He went on to write many books including 1956’s “Forbidden Area” and “Alas, Babylon” which was published three years later.

His original name was Harry Hart Frank Jr. The writer raised two children named Patrick Frank and Perry Frank.

He was also the recipient of the 1961 American Heritage Foundation Award.
