About Pat Jennings
Irish professional football player Pat Jennings is regarded as one of history's top goalkeepers due to his remarkable shot stopping skill.
He started playing at age 11 for many local clubs, including Shamrock Rovers and Newry Town and was always athletic as a kid.
Jennings made his professional debut in 1963 with Watford of England. After that, he continued playing for other prestigious teams including Tottenham Hotspur, Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur, and Everton. Jennings played an important role in the Northern Ireland national football team from 1964 to 1986, representing them in a number of international competitions, including the 1986 World Cup. Throughout his long and brilliant career, which lasted more than two decades, football fans around the world regarded him as an idol.

Jennings has been married to Eleanor Toner.
