Paul Fusco is a legendary American puppeteer, film and television star and writer. He is best known for his puppeteer role in the popular sitcom “ALF”. He is the co-founder of “Alien Productions”.

He was born in New Haven, Connecticut. Fusco attended Hamden High School, where he developed a strong interest in television and film work.
Career Highlights
Like most puppeteers, he began his career performing several stints for several television shows. Then, in the 1980s, he began to rise to prominence after meeting fellow puppeteers Lisa Buckley and Bob Fappiano. He partnered with them, and they made various TV specials for Showtime and HBO, such as “The Crown of Bogg”.
He created his famous “ALF” character in early 1984. He then worked with film producer Tom Patchett and Bernie Brillstein to develop the “ALF” sitcom concept. The sitcom has enjoyed many successes for decades, having aired on NBC and the character appearing on several popular TV series and shows.
In August 2012, he confirmed that all rights to his “ALF” character were bought by “Sony Pictures Animation” and they would make a CGI-live hybrid film out of it.
Personal Life
He married fellow actress Linda Fusco in 1978, and as of 2021, they had a son together.
