Paul Georg Julius Freiherr von Hernried Ritter von Wasel-Waldingau was the name he was given when he was born to parents, Karl Alphons Hernried and Maria-Luise Lendeckke. His father was a banker.
Career
He started acting in 1933 and has featured in a lot of movies including “Hohe Schule, aka “The Secret of Cavelli” where he played the role of Franz von Ketterer, “Night Train to Munich” where he was cast as Capt. Karl Marsen, “Dans La vie tout s’arrange” as Paul Rencourt and “Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse” where he played the part of Etienne Laurier.
Hernried also directed a part of “A Stranger Everywhere” and produced “For Men Only” and “Hollow Triumph”.
Cause of Death
Hernried suffered from a stroke later in his life then contracted pneumonia which claimed his life in 1992.
