An accomplished Australian musician and television personality, Paul Hester was one of his day's most well-known people. His remarkable tenure as Split Enz's drummer led to his rise to fame. He contributed to the band's popularity during his brief tenure with them through his works on multiple successful songs, including "The Best of Split Enz," "Conflicting Emotions," and "See Ya' Round."
Hester and Neil Finn co-founded the rock group Crowded House, and through this collective he gained fame for singles like "Crowded House," "Woodface," and "Together Alone". The group disbanded in 1984.
